| Snowboarding rocks dude! | 12/31/2004
12:27PM |
| We went snowboarding
yesterday with my brother Francisco & sister Natalia. Jennifer had
to stay on the sidelines due to the baby. It was a good day, we got
there at noon so so could only do a half day. I had only one big
fall but nothing serious. The snow in Fernie B.C. is not that great,
they were making most of it. Here are some pix of the trip

| Merry Christmas! | 12/26/2004
12:27PM |
| I hope everyone had a
wonderful Christmas. Jose and I have been very fortunate to be able
to spend time with his family for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
We are going to Medicine Hat this afternoon so we can go to Jose's mum's
Christmas party at work. Tomorrow my mum, my sister Catherine, her
boyfriend, Chey, and my brother Paul are coming for a belated Christmas
celebration. Unfortunately, my sister Claire can't come, because she
has to work. |

| Shortest Day of the Year | 12/21/2004
10:23AM |
| Today is the first day of
winter, and we'll have the least amount of sunlight. I'm always
kind of glad when we hit this point because it means the days will start
getting longer as of tomorrow. Only two-and-a-half days left of
school! |

| The Countdown is On! | 12/20/2004
11:32AM |
| The last week of school is
underway, and I'm pleased to say, the kids aren't too hyper - yet.
Let's hope they stay that way for my sanity and their safety. Jose
and I are both looking forward to a quiet holiday. The last couple
of weeks have been extremely busy, and we could really use some down
time. This weekend we went to Jose's Christmas party on Friday
night, had a friend over for supper on Saturday, went for breakfast with
friends Sunday morning, and out for supper at friends' Sunday
evening. We were introduced to the hilarious game of Spoons.
A noisy, active, sometimes violent game that was extremely fun.
Anyone coming for a visit may be subjected to playing.... if they dare! |

| Christmas Tree! | 12/13/2004
11:32AM |
| Our Christmas tree is up, and
gorgeous. Jose didn't want a real tree, but it's just not the same
without a real one. He said if I wanted a real tree, I had to go
and get it myself. So I did. And I picked a really nice one
too. That was Friday afternoon, and Saturday morning I decorated
it. I was wide awake by 7:00, so I figured I might as well do
something productive before we left for Calgary. We haven't had
much time to sit and enjoy it, but we're staying home for Christmas this
year, so hopefully there will be some time for that over the holidays. |

we are almost half way through the month. |
