I've Become very bad at this
Posted by: JenniferI'm so sorry for being so bad about updating this website. Time as always just gets away from me, and I can't seem to do anything about it. Since the 11th, James has been doing more of the same, just getting better at what he does. He can also put his toes in his mouth now, and it seems he's always got his tongue out. And a very cute little tongue it is too.
Also since the 11th, we've gone to Medicine Hat and Calgary a couple of times. We went the the Hat for one last visit with Jose's grandma before she went back to El Salvador, and then went on to Calgary to apply for our passports. That was not a good weekend for James. He'd had his needles, and I think that was really bugging him. Baby Tylenol made him actually relax and go to sleep. Jose and my mum got to deal with an evening of extreme crankiness while I went to the Stampede with Adriana, Catherine and Chey. I didn't plan it that way, it just happened. That following week, I had an upset stomach, which was extremely unpleasant. Jose actually stayed home from work one day to help me out because I was absolutely useless. The weekend of the 23rd, we were back in Calgary for my dad's wedding. It was really great to see all of my Rodgers family, none of whom had met James. We brought Adriana back with us who was able to stay with us for a few days. We did all sorts of stuff, like go to the Crowsnest Pass to visit Frank Slide, the Bellevue mine, and Lundbreck falls, we went for supper at the water tower, went for a walk with my baby group, and had Jess and Ryan over for supper. We also shopped unsuccessfully for curtains for my kitchen window, but I did manage to find a nice pair of capri pants. I drove Adriana back to Calgary on Thursday so I could have a visit with my Aunt Margaret and cousin Emma who were visiting from Prince Albert. The trip back took 3-1/2 hours. James was not a happy camper for some reason. I think he just got worried because lately there have been people to ride in the back with him or sitting in the front talking, and since I was by myself, there wasn't much noise. I had to stop a few times to calm him down because he was crying so incredible hard. I also sang every Sharon Lois and Bram song I could remember, told him stories, and from Fort Macleod to Lethbridge, I basically just talked out loud about pretty much nothing. He wasn't sick or anything, he cheered up eventually when I was in the back with him the little bum, and he's been just fine since.
Anyway, I think that's about all for now. I'll post some pictures later.
Bye for now
